What to Expect During Your FREE Miracle-Ear Hearing Test and Consultation
1. First we'll consult with you on your lifestyle to determine your needs and expectations. The rhythms of your life, the environments you live in and your style of interaction will all figure into our recommendations.
2. Next, your ears will be thoroughly inspected with a Video Otoscope. This advanced fiber-optic camera transmits images from inside your ear to a video monitor you'll be able to watch. It may reveal excessive cerumen (earwax), eardrum damage and other hearing-related conditions. Some hearing problems can be resolved as easily as removing wax build-up. At Miracle-Ear, we look for the simple solution first.
3. Then, you'll experience a free audiometric test, including speech recognition and loudness discomfort levels.
4. Finally, you'll be treated to our exclusive Amplifit assessment. You'll watch and listen to specially designed videos of real-life scenarios (such as watching TV, going to a concert) and then work with your ME Hearing consultant to rate how well you hear particular sounds or the actors' voices.
5. Once you complete your hearing assessment, you'll know whether you have any degree of hearing loss. If you decide to correct it, you and your ME Hearing consultant will pick the ME Solution Package that's right for you.
6. Then Amplifit will let you experience the test again, this time while wearing your new hearing aid. By letting you "see and hear" how your hearing will improve with your new aid, you can again make sure it's still right for you.
7. Once you decide on your hearing aid, Amplifit will be invaluable as we custom program and fine-tune your ME hearing aid for you.
