CIC hearing aids sit all the way in the ear and are some of the smallest hearing aids available. They’re only slightly larger than the IIC style, making them rarely visible. The small speaker rests on the back of the aid, while the microphone and battery door are located on the face. A tiny, clear cord helps you insert and remove your device.
Because of their small size, CICs don’t usually come with any manual controls, like volume controls or program buttons. They can also be tricky to handle, so this style is best for people with good dexterity.
