William has had a hearing loss for several years. He currently had been wearing one hearing aid that was no longer meeting his hearing needs. William was growing frustrated that he could not hear his family and friends, especially his daughter. Feeling more discouraged, William decided to reach out to Miracle-Ear in Chambersburg, PA.
Miracle-Ear Hearing Specialist Lorrie Black tested William and confirmed the need for two hearing aids but they found that the cost of hearing aids was out of his reach. Lorrie suggested that he apply for assistance from the Miracle-Ear Foundation, and he was approved and fitted with donated hearing aids as well as life-time aftercare.
William went from needing one hearing aid to two on his hearing journey.
William is elated with his new hearing aids. He is so excited to be able to hear his family and friends. William is looking forward to improved communication with his daughter and also returning to church to enjoy the sermon like he used to. William is so grateful for the help Lorrie and the Miracle-Ear Foundation has given him with the gift of sound.
