Kathleen was struggling to hear and understand others, particularly in crowds. She knew she needed help, but was concerned that she would be unable to afford hearing aids.
Kathleen heard about the Miracle-Ear hearing aid center in Oakhurst, NJ and made an appointment without any expectations, other than hoping they may be able to help her. Hearing Care Professional Duane Hunt and Front Office Manager Karen Hall welcomed her to the office and performed the free hearing test.
"After the examination, we discussed my options and once I explained that I had no money they offered me the options or receiving hearing aids free of cost through the Miracle-Ear Foundation,“ says Kathleen. “The application was filled out and I waited for the outcome.“
The office called Kathleen and told her the exciting news that she had been approved and would be receiving her hearing aids. “Once I received the call from the office that I had been approved I couldn‘t wait to be able to hear again. Praise the Lord for this ability. Since receiving the aids my world has changed tremendously. What a blessing it is to be able to hear and understand things in the church and when out with friends.
