The Miracle-Ear Foundation® is proud to announce that LouAnn Zullinger of Miracle-Ear in Chambersburg, PA has been awarded the 2017 Miracle-Ear Foundation Top Foundation Performer Award. LouAnn conducted an impressive 18 Foundation fittings in 2017 in addition to raising $3,480 in for the Gift of Sound™ program. This was done with the support of owner Julie Beall-McKelvey, as well as staff members Terri Gretchen and Carole Schroyer.
“It is very gratifying to be able to help so many people through the Miracle-Ear Foundation. I firmly believe it is my professional responsibility to do so, but it is also a way for me to serve the community where I live and work. My parents always reminded me to help those less fortunate than myself, and to never forget ‘there but for the grace of God go I,’” says LouAnn.
LouAnn’s impressive and selfless work contributed to an overall 1,580 new Foundation fittings in 2017. Since 1990, the Miracle-Ear Foundation, together with our donors, has donated over 16,000 hearing aids to more than 9,000 individuals nationwide.
At Miracle-Ear®, we want to do everything we can to help those in our community who need hearing healthcare but cannot afford treatment. The Miracle-Ear Foundation® is designed to support underserved Americans with a limited income and no other resources for hearing aids, such as insurance, Medicaid, VA, or other state or federal programs.
