Professional Experience

I have been with Miracle Ear since 2006, I started as a Hearing Instrument Specialist and purchased a Franchise in Central Minnesota in 2011. In January 2024 I added Western South Dakota area to the Franchise. I started with Miracle Ear as a result of the opportunity and success my brother experienced with Miracle Ear. It was his passion and commitment to helping others that got me excited about this adventure.

Credentials

I now operate locations in Alexandria, St. Cloud, Willmar and service all of Central Minnesota. As of 2024 I now am a franchise owner in part of South Dakota, with fulltime offices in Sioux Falls & Aberdeen. Being with a leader like Miracle-Ear is very exciting and I'm confident I made the right choice. My experience and skill combined with the Miracle-Ear's unrivaled technology allows me to help people with even the most profound hearing loss to hear clearly again.

Favorite Part of working with Miracle-Ear

As a hearing aid user myself, I can relate to the problems one has with their hearing loss.  Every time a patient thanks me for how well they hear, I am reassured that I made the right professional choice.

Professional Experience

Hearing health has been a part of my family for many years. My grandfather started & then my father, Bob Reierson, took over when Grandpa retired. Growing up I helped out in the front office. I went to college for cardiovascular sonography. But every time I would see a patient that wore a hearing aid, I asked how they were hearing. If they said they were having issues, I told them to make an appointment. I went back to school for hearing instrument specialty & got into the family business.

BA Communication and Liberal Arts

I’ve known from a young age that I wanted to work in the healthcare field. That came from years of watching my parent’s helping patients in their Chiropractic Clinic. Growing up, I had trouble with my ears. I can remember the frustration I would have from not being able to hear well. I joined Miracle Ear at the end of 2021. Since then, I've had the opportunity to help educate patients about their hearing health, & helping improve their quality of life.

Hearing loss

Hearing loss can happen to anyone. Today, more than 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss. There are three types of hearing loss: sensorineural, conductive and mixed hearing loss. While many elements can contribute to hearing loss, age and exposure to loud noise are the two most common. Signs of hearing loss include turning the TV volume up, difficulty hearing on the phone or asking people to repeat themselves. Luckily, hearing aids are a great treatment option for many.

Tinnitus

Do you hear buzzing, humming or ringing in the ears? You’re not alone. Nearly 10 to 15 percent of American adults have tinnitus. While most people experience moments or brief periods of hearing ringing in the ears at some time in their lives, some people experience tinnitus more regularly. Tinnitus is not a condition itself, but rather a symptom of another condition. 90 percent of people with tinnitus also have noise-induced hearing loss. The good news? Hearing aids can help.

Hearing aid repairs

Hearing aids are amazing devices—except when they’re not working properly. Just like other pieces of technology, they can sometimes experience technical issues. Luckily, our 3-year warranty* covers most hearing aid repairs. Repairs may be needed if troubleshooting your device hasn’t worked or your hearing aid has been physically damaged. The issue could be caused by one of a few things, including the internal tubing, microphone or case.

Hearing aid aftercare

At Miracle-Ear, we know that if we, together, take care of your hearing aid, it will take care of you. It's essential that your device functions properly and allows you to live life to the fullest. That's why we offer free lifetime service and hearing aid aftercare*. This includes clean and checks, adjustments, repairs and annual hearing tests.

*Miracle-Ear® lifetime aftercare not included with hearing aids purchased utilizing some insurance benefits.

Hearing protection

At Miracle-Ear, we’re dedicated to helping you protect your hearing and the health of your ears. Our custom hearing protection solutions are tailored to specific activities and environments and custom made to the shape of your ears for maximum comfort. We offer custom hearing protection products for swimmers, hunters and music lovers.

Custom-fit

Our custom-fit hearing aids are molded to fit each person’s unique ear shape. Your hearing instrument specialist will take a mold of your ear while you're in the office. This is quick and painless! It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.
