Professional Experience

I graduated from the University of Utah with my Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science. During college, I was an Audiology Assistant in the school district for 2.5 years. This was an incredible role, where I got help so many children hear. Directly after my schooling, I transitioned in my career, where I worked for Miracle Ear in Salt Lake City. While in Salt Lake City, I worked in 3 Miracle Ear store fronts. Now, I have transferred to Tucson to be closer to family.

Credentials

- Bachelors of Science in Speech and Hearing Science
- National Board Certification in Hearing Sciences
- Interned under an Audiologist
- I have been a recipient of two nationally recognized awards through Miracle Ear in 2020 and 2021.

Favorite Part of Working with Miracle-Ear

My favorite part of working for Miracle Ear is the ability to help people, watch their face as they hear sounds they haven't heard in a long time and watch lives change because of my help. After college, I was searching for a brand that cares about its patients as much as I did. The Miracle Ear Foundation provided free hearing aids for the majority of my students in the school district and this really caught my attention. People need a brand they can trust, and Miracle Ear is just that.

Favorite Part of Working With Miracle-Ear

Hearing loss

Hearing loss can happen to anyone. Today, more than 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss. There are three types of hearing loss: sensorineural, conductive and mixed hearing loss. While many elements can contribute to hearing loss, age and exposure to loud noise are the two most common. Signs of hearing loss include turning the TV volume up, difficulty hearing on the phone or asking people to repeat themselves. Luckily, hearing aids are a great treatment option for many.

Tinnitus

Do you hear buzzing, humming or ringing in the ears? You’re not alone. Nearly 10 to 15 percent of American adults have tinnitus. While most people experience moments or brief periods of hearing ringing in the ears at some time in their lives, some people experience tinnitus more regularly. Tinnitus is not a condition itself, but rather a symptom of another condition. 90 percent of people with tinnitus also have noise-induced hearing loss. The good news? Hearing aids can help.

Hearing aid repairs

Hearing aids are amazing devices—except when they’re not working properly. Just like other pieces of technology, they can sometimes experience technical issues. Luckily, our 3-year warranty* covers most hearing aid repairs. Repairs may be needed if troubleshooting your device hasn’t worked or your hearing aid has been physically damaged. The issue could be caused by one of a few things, including the internal tubing, microphone or case.

Hearing aid aftercare

At Miracle-Ear, we know that if we, together, take care of your hearing aid, it will take care of you. It's essential that your device functions properly and allows you to live life to the fullest. That's why we offer free lifetime service and hearing aid aftercare*. This includes clean and checks, adjustments, repairs and annual hearing tests.

*Miracle-Ear® lifetime aftercare not included with hearing aids purchased utilizing some insurance benefits.

Custom-fit

Our custom-fit hearing aids are molded to fit each person’s unique ear shape. Your hearing instrument specialist will take a mold of your ear while you're in the office. This is quick and painless! It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.

Foundation

The Miracle-Ear Foundation provides hearing health care to children and adults with limited income and no other resources for hearing aids. We're proud that our hearing center participates in this amazing program, providing free hearing aids to those in need and continuing to support them through their hearing journey.
