Professional Experience

Barbara is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences and has been licensed as a Hearing Instrument Specialist by the California Department of Consumer Affairs. She has been through extensive training with Miracle-Ear and has received her Miracle-Ear Professional Certification. She has also been trained in Live Speech Mapping, Real Ear Measurement, deep canal impressions, and is proficient with all Audiometric equipment to service your needs.
Barbara has been in practice since receiving her Hearing Aid Specialist education through the Miracle-Ear Training program in 2008. She is a people person who likes to talk with people about anything. She loves to help people better their lives by improving their hearing, to get more out of the wonderful world we live in. She is a member of the International Hearing Aid Society and of our state chapter, Hearing Healthcare Providers of California.

While many elements can contribute to hearing loss, age and exposure to loud noise are the two most common. While most people experience moments or brief periods of hearing ringing in the ears at some time in their lives, some people experience tinnitus more regularly. Our custom-fit hearing aids are molded to fit each person’s unique ear shape. Your hearing instrument specialist will take a mold of your ear while you're in the office. This is quick and painless! It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.
