Pat Curry

I am so proud to be part of the Miracle-Ear family. For over 70 years Miracle-Ear has been helping people hear better. My family has proudly been in the healthcare business since 1963. My father, Jim, finished his medical degree with four children in tow at the age of 35. He went on to have three more children (thank God since I am his youngest!). Although I did not become a doctor, my love of caring for people's health brought me into the hearing aid business.
We have over 100 professional Miracle-Ear hearing centers across Texas, Florida, and New Mexico with over 140 healthcare providers. My father would have been so proud to know that we have carried on his name and patient care philosophy. We have fit over 154,000 hearing aids and have over 70,000 happy patients. We continue to be the longest serving hearing aid provider in all of the markets that we serve.
Miracle-Ear will be here to take care of you, whatever your hearing needs may be, for a long time to come. As Helen Keller said, "Blindness cuts us off from things, but deafness cuts us off from people." If you have friends or family who could use our help, please send them to us. We always offer free hearing tests and a lifetime of free aftercare.

Hearing loss

Hearing loss can happen to anyone. Today, more than 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss. There are three types of hearing loss: sensorineural, conductive and mixed hearing loss. While many elements can contribute to hearing loss, age and exposure to loud noise are the two most common. Signs of hearing loss include turning the TV volume up, difficulty hearing on the phone or asking people to repeat themselves. Luckily, hearing aids are a great treatment option for many.

Tinnitus

Do you hear buzzing, humming or ringing in the ears? You’re not alone. Nearly 10 to 15 percent of American adults have tinnitus. While most people experience moments or brief periods of hearing ringing in the ears at some time in their lives, some people experience tinnitus more regularly. Tinnitus is not a condition itself, but rather a symptom of another condition. 90 percent of people with tinnitus also have noise-induced hearing loss. The good news? Hearing aids can help.

Hearing aid repairs

Hearing aids are amazing devices—except when they’re not working properly. Just like other pieces of technology, they can sometimes experience technical issues. Luckily, our 3-year warranty* covers most hearing aid repairs. Repairs may be needed if troubleshooting your device hasn’t worked or your hearing aid has been physically damaged. The issue could be caused by one of a few things, including the internal tubing, microphone or case.

Hearing aid aftercare

At Miracle-Ear, we know that if we, together, take care of your hearing aid, it will take care of you. It's extremely important to us that your device is functioning properly and allowing you to live life to the fullest. That's why we offer free lifetime service and hearing aid aftercare, making sure to see each of our customers, on average, five times a year. This includes clean and checks, adjustments, repairs and annual hearing tests.

Custom-fit

Our custom-fit hearing aids are molded to fit each person’s unique ear shape. Your hearing instrument specialist will take a mold of your ear while you're in the office. This is quick and painless! It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.

Foundation

The Miracle-Ear Foundation provides hearing health care to children and adults with limited income and no other resources for hearing aids. We're proud that our hearing center participates in this amazing program, providing free hearing aids to those in need and continuing to support them through their hearing journey.
