Professional Experience

Jennifer Keyes is your local Licensed Hearing Aid Professional at Jacksonville, FL. Jennifer is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences and has been licensed as a Hearing Aid Specialist by the Florida Licensing Board within the Florida Department of Health. In addition, Jennifer has been through extensive training with Miracle-Ear and has received her Miracle-Ear Professional Certification.
Jennifer has also been trained in Live Speech Mapping, Real Ear Measurement and is proficient with all Audiometric equipment to service your needs. She has been with Miracle-Ear since 2011, both in her home state of Indiana and here in Florida.
Jennifer began her career in hearing health after her grandmother went blind and they had a conversation about blessings. Her grandmother told her she was glad she lost her sight instead of her hearing because she could imagine what everyone looked like, but there was no comparison to hearing about their lives and hearing her grandchildren tell her they loved her. Jennifer works each day to help families stay connected.

While many elements can contribute to hearing loss, age and exposure to loud noise are the two most common. Do you hear buzzing, humming or ringing in the ears? You’re not alone. Nearly 10 to 15 percent of American adults have tinnitus. While most people experience moments or brief periods of hearing ringing in the ears at some time in their lives, some people experience tinnitus more regularly. Tinnitus is not a condition itself, but rather a symptom of another condition. 90 percent of people with tinnitus also have noise-induced hearing loss. The good news? Hearing aids can help.

Hearing aids are amazing devices—except when they’re not working properly. Just like other pieces of technology, they can sometimes experience technical issues. Luckily, our 3-year warranty* covers most hearing aid repairs. Repairs may be needed if troubleshooting your device hasn’t worked or your hearing aid has been physically damaged. The issue could be caused by one of a few things, including the internal tubing, microphone or case.

At Miracle-Ear, we know that if we, together, take care of your hearing aid, it will take care of you. It's essential that your device functions properly and allows you to live life to the fullest. That's why we offer free lifetime service and hearing aid aftercare*. This includes clean and checks, adjustments, repairs and annual hearing tests.

Custom-fit

Our custom-fit hearing aids are molded to fit each person’s unique ear shape. Your hearing instrument specialist will take a mold of your ear while you're in the office. This is quick and painless! It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.

Foundation

The Miracle-Ear Foundation provides hearing health care to children and adults with limited income and no other resources for hearing aids. We're proud that our hearing center participates in this amazing program, providing free hearing aids to those in need and continuing to support them through their hearing journey.
