Professional Experience

I began my career with Miracle-Ear in January of 2004 as the Patient Care Coordinator in the Kearney, NE office. I then transitioned into the consultant position where I began my internship & schooling to become a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. I officially became a licensed HIS in Nebraska in April 2008. I am a member of the Nebraska Hearing Society as well as the International Hearing Society.

Favorite Part of Working With Miracle-Ear

My favorite part of working at Miracle-Ear is being able to help people reconnect with family and friends. Also, improving their quality of life by enabling them to hear and understand clearly. When you purchase your hearing instruments from Miracle-Ear, you’re now part of the Miracle-Ear family. I believe that life is precious and being able to hear it is important and I'm here to help you hear your best!

Fun Facts About Me:

My husband and I enjoy camping, campfires, exploring, boating, fishing, and most of all, visiting our son, daughter-in-law, Grandson and Granddaughter who live in Omaha, NE. We have a black and tan miniature dachshund and a big yellow tabby cat. They all keep us busy and entertained. I also enjoy playing various games (card & board) & watching game shows.

Do you hear buzzing, humming or ringing in the ears? You’re not alone. Nearly 10 to 15 percent of American adults have tinnitus. While most people experience moments or brief periods of hearing ringing in the ears at some time in their lives, some people experience tinnitus more regularly. Tinnitus is not a condition itself, but rather a symptom of another condition. 90 percent of people with tinnitus also have noise-induced hearing loss. The good news? Hearing aids can help.

Hearing aid repairs

Hearing aids are amazing devices—except when they’re not working properly. Just like other pieces of technology, they can sometimes experience technical issues. Luckily, our 3-year warranty* covers most hearing aid repairs. Repairs may be needed if troubleshooting your device hasn’t worked or your hearing aid has been physically damaged. The issue could be caused by one of a few things, including the internal tubing, microphone or case.

Hearing aid aftercare

At Miracle-Ear, we know that if we, together, take care of your hearing aid, it will take care of you. It's essential that your device functions properly and allows you to live life to the fullest. That's why we offer free lifetime service and hearing aid aftercare*. This includes clean and checks, adjustments, repairs and annual hearing tests.

*Miracle-Ear® lifetime aftercare not included with hearing aids purchased utilizing some insurance benefits.

Custom-fit

Our custom-fit hearing aids are molded to fit each person’s unique ear shape. Your hearing instrument specialist will take a mold of your ear while you're in the office. This is quick and painless! It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.

Foundation

The Miracle-Ear Foundation provides hearing health care to children and adults with limited income and no other resources for hearing aids. We're proud that our hearing center participates in this amazing program, providing free hearing aids to those in need and continuing to support them through their hearing journey.
