Bruce Campagna

Professional Experience

Bruce Campagna is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences and has been licensed as a Hearing Aid Specialist by the Florida Licensing Board within the Florida Department of Health. In addition, he has been through extensive training with Miracle-Ear and has received his Miracle-Ear Professional Certification. He has also been trained in Live Speech Mapping, Real Ear Measurement, Deep Canal Impressions, and is proficient with all Audiometric equipment to service your needs.
Bruce acquired his National Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences in 1989 and has a bachelor's degree from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). RIT is renowned as one of the few colleges in the US that specialize in technical degrees for deaf / hearing impaired, with the NTID (National Technical Institute for the Deaf) Program. Bruce's exposure to deaf and hearing-impaired students at RIT was a major factor inspiring him to join Miracle-Ear in 1984.

While many elements can contribute to hearing loss, age and exposure to loud noise are the two most common. Signs of hearing loss include turning the TV volume up, difficulty hearing on the phone or asking people to repeat themselves. Luckily, hearing aids are a great treatment option for many.

Tinnitus

Do you hear buzzing, humming or ringing in the ears? You’re not alone. Nearly 10 to 15 percent of American adults have tinnitus. While most people experience moments or brief periods of hearing ringing in the ears at some time in their lives, some people experience tinnitus more regularly. Tinnitus is not a condition itself, but rather a symptom of another condition. 90 percent of people with tinnitus also have noise-induced hearing loss. The good news? Hearing aids can help.

That's why we offer free lifetime service and hearing aid aftercare*. This includes clean and checks, adjustments, repairs and annual hearing tests.

Our custom-fit hearing aids are molded to fit each person’s unique ear shape. Your hearing instrument specialist will take a mold of your ear while you're in the office. This is quick and painless! It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.
