Dr. Melanie Liner has been in the hearing industry since 2001, after she obtained her Master's degree in Audiology from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She obtained her Doctorate degree in Audiology from Salus University in 2009 and in 2016 joined the Miracle-Ear team and received her Miracle-Ear Professional Certification. Through her experience and continued education, Dr. Liner is able to provide each patient with the high-quality care that they deserve.

John graduated from University of New Orleans, where he received his Bachelor of the Arts in History. In February of 2017, John found his passion helping those who struggle with hearing loss, and is now a certified Hearing Instrument Specialist, licensed in both Louisiana and Mississippi. Since joining the Miracle-Ear team, John continues his education by participating in ongoing training.

Hearing loss can happen to anyone. Today, more than 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss. There are three types of hearing loss: sensorineural, conductive and mixed hearing loss. While many elements can contribute to hearing loss, age and exposure to loud noise are the two most common. Hearing aids are amazing devices—except when they’re not working properly. Just like other pieces of technology, they can sometimes experience technical issues. The issue could be caused by one of a few things, including the internal tubing, microphone or case.

Hearing aid aftercare

At Miracle-Ear, we know that if we, together, take care of your hearing aid, it will take care of you. It's extremely important to us that your device is functioning properly and allowing you to live life to the fullest. That's why we offer free lifetime service and hearing aid aftercare, making sure to see each of our customers, on average, five times a year. This includes clean and checks, adjustments, repairs and annual hearing tests.

Custom-fit

Our custom-fit hearing aids are molded to fit each person’s unique ear shape. Your hearing instrument specialist will take a mold of your ear while you're in the office. This is quick and painless! It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.

Foundation

The Miracle-Ear Foundation provides hearing health care to children and adults with limited income and no other resources for hearing aids. We're proud that our hearing center participates in this amazing program, providing free hearing aids to those in need and continuing to support them through their hearing journey.
