Deborah's Miracle-Ear Foundation Story

Published on Jul, 10, 2020

Deborah was getting discouraged that she could not hear her family and friends as well as she used to.  Communicating with everyone was becoming more difficult for her, especially in larger groups of people.  She found herself pulling away from going to events and games with friends. Growing more frustrated, Deborah decided to reach out to Miracle-Ear in Butler, PA for an evaluation.

Miracle-Ear Hearing Specialist Marleen Hoffmann tested Deborah and confirmed the need for hearing aids but quickly determined that the cost of hearing aids was out of her reach. Marleen suggested that she apply for assistance from the Miracle-Ear Foundation. Deborah was approved and fitted with donated hearing aids as well as life-time aftercare.

Deborah used to struggle to hear her loved ones, and now she is back to playing games with them all.

Deborah is elated with her new hearing aids. She is so excited to be able to hear her family and friends better, and she is looking forward to getting back out with her friends and enjoying games with them all. Deborah is so grateful for the help Marleen and the Miracle Ear Foundation has given her with the gift of sound.
