Patricia's Miracle-Ear Foundation Story

Published on Jun, 26, 2020

Patricia was getting frustrated that she could not hear her family and friends.  Communicating with everyone was becoming exceedingly difficult for her. Patricia was starting to pretend that she knew what people were saying.  Her television was a lot louder than it used to be, and she was having trouble understanding what was being said.  That is when Patricia decided to reach out to Miracle-Ear in Bedford, PA.

Miracle-Ear Hearing Specialist Amy Dunmyer tested and confirmed that Patricia needed hearing aids, but they quickly determined that the cost of hearing aids was out of her reach. Amy suggested that she apply for assistance from the Miracle-Ear Foundation. Patricia was approved and fitted with donated hearing aids as well as life-time aftercare.

Patricia used to pretend she knew what people were saying and now she communicates with ease.

Patricia is incredibly happy with her new hearing aids. She is excited to be able to hear her family and friends. The TV volume is down, and she can still understand what is being said. Patricia is so grateful for the help Amy and the Miracle Ear Foundation has given her with the gift of sound.
