James has struggled with hearing loss for several years. Communicating with friends and family was becoming more difficult every day. James felt he was missing out on quality time with his family, especially his sister, and was withdrawing from his favorite hobbies, including hunting, as he struggled to hear the animals around him. Growing more frustrated and with encouragement from his sister, James decided to reach out to Miracle-Ear in Indiana, PA.
Miracle-Ear Hearing Specialist Bethany Orr tested James and confirmed the need for hearing aids but quickly determined that the cost of hearing aids was out of his reach. Bethany suggested that he apply for assistance from the Miracle-Ear Foundation. James was approved and fitted with donated hearing aids as well as life-time aftercare.
James looks forward to being able to hear his turkey gobble every morning!
James is thrilled with his new hearing aids. He is looking forward to being part of the conversations with his friends and family and cannot wait to hear the gobble of the turkeys again.
