Unlimited Care for your hearing aids

Unlimited Care and support, every step of the way.

What is Unlimited Care service?

Miracle-Ear Unlimited Care is a free, ongoing service program available at Miracle-Ear stores nationwide that gives you expert support for your hearing aids for as long as you own them. Unlimited Care means you have a dedicated hearing care team in your corner — for every cleaning, every check-up, and every adjustment your devices ever need. Just the ongoing care that keeps you hearing your best, day after day and year after year.

What's included with Unlimited Care?

Regular cleanings

Regular cleanings

Over time, dust, moisture, earwax and skin particles naturally accumulate on the components of your hearing aids. Left unattended, this buildup can muffle sound, reduce battery life and shorten the lifespan of your devices. At-home cleaning helps, but it only goes so far.

During a professional cleaning at your local Miracle-Ear store, our hearing care professionals use clinical tools to remove debris from the receiver and sound outlet, clear microphone ports, clean tubing and earmolds, and dehumidify internal components. It's the kind of thorough maintenance that protects both the performance and the lifespan of your devices.

Performance check-ups

Performance check-ups

Even the best hearing aids can drift from their original settings over time. Receivers lose sensitivity, microphones pick up more background noise than they should, and output levels shift — gradually enough that you might not notice, but enough to affect how clearly you hear.

During a performance check-up, our Miracle-Ear specialist uses diagnostic tools to test your devices against their original factory specs — measuring frequency output, checking microphone performance, and verifying that features like noise reduction and feedback cancellation are all working the way they should.

Ongoing adjustments

Ongoing adjustments

Hearing changes over time — because of age, noise exposure, health changes, or medication. If your hearing aids were programmed to match your hearing from a couple of years ago, there's a good chance they're no longer perfectly tuned to where your hearing is today.

Whenever your hearing shifts, our Miracle-Ear specialist can reprogram your devices to match your current hearing profile at no extra cost. They'll adjust gain levels, fine-tune settings for the environments you're in most and make sure everything sounds comfortable and clear.

Battery replacement

Battery replacement

For wearers of non-rechargeable hearing aids, keeping up with batteries is just part of the routine. As part of unlimited care, our Miracle-Ear team is on hand to help with battery needs during your service visits and walk you through best practices for handling and storage that can extend how long each battery that you purchase lasts.

If you use a rechargeable model, our professionals will check that the charging system is working correctly and that your batteries are still holding a full charge the way they should.

Why ongoing care makes a difference

Like an instrument that needs tuning, hearing aids require regular maintenance. Over time, that work takes a toll — on the components, the calibration, and the sound quality you depend on. Regular professional care is what keeps everything running the way it should. Here's what consistent unlimited care visits help prevent:

  • Sound quality decline. Earwax and debris are the most common causes of muffled or reduced sound in hearing aids. Regular cleanings catch buildup before it affects what you hear.
  • Premature hardware failure. Moisture and corrosion are leading causes of hearing aid damage. Professional dehumidifying and inspection during service visits can catch early warning signs — before a minor issue becomes a costly repair.
  • Outdated programming. A hearing aid that isn't adjusted to match your current hearing isn't doing its job. Routine check-ups keep your devices calibrated to the hearing you have today.
  • Missed changes in your hearing. Regular visits mean your hearing care professional gets to know your hearing over time. If something changes, they're more likely to catch it early — and act on it.

Who benefits most from Unlimited Care

Unlimited Care is valuable for every hearing aid wearer — but some situations make regular professional care especially important.

  • New hearing aid wearers. The first year with hearing aids involves a lot of adjustment — to the sound, the fit, and the programming. Frequent visits during this period help make sure your devices are dialed in as your brain adapts to amplified sound.
  • Long-term wearers whose hearing has changed. If you've been wearing the same hearing aids for a few years and things don't quite sound the way they used to, an adjustment visit could make a significant difference.
  • Active and outdoor lifestyles. Sweat, dust, wind, and humidity are harder on hearing aids than most people realize. If you're regularly active outdoors, professional cleanings help counteract the extra wear.
  • Non-rechargeable device users. Regular visits make it easier to stay on top of battery needs and get guidance on maximizing battery life.
