Professional Experience

My name is Susan Murphy, and I have been in the hearing healthcare field since 2005. I began my career as a front office person transitioning into the Hearing Instrument Specialist program. I completed my formal training and received my NC State License to practice as a Hearing Instrument Specialist in June 2007. I have been married 40 years to George, who served 20 years in the U. S. Air Force and we have one daughter.

I wake up each morning thankful, I get to go to work and do something I love. My goal is to enhance your quality of life by making your hearing as effortless as possible. By listening to your challenges and through our diagnostic testing, I am able to make assessments and recommendations based on your individual needs and budget.

While many elements can contribute to hearing loss, age and exposure to loud noise are the two most common. It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.

Foundation

The Miracle-Ear Foundation provides hearing health care to children and adults with limited income and no other resources for hearing aids. We're proud that our hearing center participates in this amazing program, providing free hearing aids to those in need and continuing to support them through their hearing journey.
