Dorothy used to love attending social functions, that is, before communicating with everyone was so difficult for her. Dorothy has struggled with hearing loss for many years and found herself unable to communicate with friends and family. She no longer enjoyed watching TV due to needing the volume up so high. Growing tired of missing out and withdrawing from social events, Dorothy reached out to Miracle-Ear in Greensburg, PA.
During her evaluation, Miracle-Ear Hearing Specialist Brandon tested Dorothy and confirmed the need for hearing aids. Brandon and Dorothy quickly determined that the cost of hearing aids was out of her reach. Eager to help, Brandon suggested that she apply for assistance from the Miracle-Ear Foundation. Dorothy was approved and fitted with donated hearing aids as well as life-time aftercare.
Dorothy loves her new donated hearing aids, she can't wait to attend her favorite social events again!
Dorothy is thrilled to have received the Gift of Sound. She loves her new hearing aids; she can even turn the TV volume down and understand what is being said. She is so excited to be able to communicate with her family and friends better. She is especially looking forward to having long and clear conversations with her son again.
