Ted, a local resident of Wellsboro, has struggled with hearing loss for several years. Ted found it becoming more and more difficult to communicate with friends and family, especially at his favorite restaurant. Ted was growing tired of always asking everyone to repeat things to him, so he decided to reach out to Miracle-Ear in Wellsboro, PA for an evaluation.
During Ted's appointment, Miracle-Ear Hearing Specialist Rik, confirmed the need for hearing aids. Ted is one of over 466 million individuals with hearing loss around the world, however, the cost of hearing aids was out of his reach. Rik suggested that Ted apply for assistance from the Miracle-Ear Foundation. Ted was approved and fitted with donated hearing aids as well as life-time aftercare.
Thanks to Rik and the Miracle-Ear Foundation, Ted enjoys going to his favorite restaurant again.
Ted is now one of 16,000 individuals that the Miracle-Ear Foundation has supported. Ted is thrilled with his new hearing aids. He is so excited to be able to hear his family and friends better. Ted is looking forward to spending more quality time enjoying his favorite things in life again.
