James struggled with hearing loss for several years. He was frustrated that he could not hear his family and friends, making it difficult to be present in conversations. James grew tired of feelings of missing out due to his hearing loss. He found the volume of the TV was a lot louder than it used to be and he was still having trouble hearing what was being said. That is when James decided to reach out to Miracle-Ear in Wellsboro, PA for an evaluation.
Miracle-Ear Hearing Specialist, Rik, tested James and confirmed the need for hearing aids but quickly determined the cost was out of his reach. Instead of continuing to miss out due to his hearing loss, Rik suggested that James apply for assistance from the Miracle-Ear Foundation. James was approved and fitted with donated hearing aids as well as life-time aftercare.
James is so grateful for his donated hearing aids. He is looking forward to spending more time with friends and family while being able to hear them.
James is so thrilled with his new hearing aids and can't wait to communicate with friends and family better. James's TV volume has gone down, and he can understand what is being said. Thanks to Rik and the Miracle-Ear Foundation, James doesn't have to miss out on conversations anymore. James is so grateful to have been given the Gift of Sound.
