Dickie Billedeaux

Professional Experience

Hi, Neighbor! I'm Dickie Billedeaux, owner and operator of your hometown Miracle-Ear. I am a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and I am a licensed Audioprosthologist BC-HIS in LA, TX, and MS. My wife, Carmen, and I opened Billedeaux Hearing Center in Lafayette, LA in 1999. After serving our hometown area for 12 years as independent hearing aid providers, we joined the Miracle-Ear family in 2011 and now own and operate 32 Miracle-Ear locations across LA, East TX, and MS.

Local Community

We believe that everyone has a duty to give back to their community. I have served as President of the Louisiana Society for Hearing Aid Specialists and I also serve on the board of directors and am a volunteer coach for our local youth sports organization. My wife and I donate a percentage of every hearing aid we fit to the Miracle-Ear Foundation which provides hearing aids at no cost to people right here in our community who can’t afford hearing help.

Why I Love Miracle-Ear

Every day I hear stories from patients about how their Miracle-Ear has changed their life. We've helped thousands of people in our community hear a better day and we are honored to bring the resources of the Miracle-Ear brand to Port Allen and the surrounding areas. I would like to invite you to a FREE professional hearing evaluation and consultation. I personally guarantee we will treat you just like family. Come in today to see how we can help you Hear a Better Day!

Hearing loss

Hearing loss can happen to anyone. Today, more than 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss. There are three types of hearing loss: sensorineural, conductive and mixed hearing loss. While many elements can contribute to hearing loss, age and exposure to loud noise are the two most common. Signs of hearing loss include turning the TV volume up, difficulty hearing on the phone or asking people to repeat themselves. Luckily, hearing aids are a great treatment option for many.

Tinnitus

Do you hear buzzing, humming or ringing in the ears? You’re not alone. Nearly 10 to 15 percent of American adults have tinnitus. While most people experience moments or brief periods of hearing ringing in the ears at some time in their lives, some people experience tinnitus more regularly. Tinnitus is not a condition itself, but rather a symptom of another condition. 90 percent of people with tinnitus also have noise-induced hearing loss. The good news? Hearing aids can help.

Hearing aid repairs

Hearing aids are amazing devices—except when they’re not working properly. Just like other pieces of technology, they can sometimes experience technical issues. Luckily, our 3-year warranty* covers most hearing aid repairs. Repairs may be needed if troubleshooting your device hasn’t worked or your hearing aid has been physically damaged. The issue could be caused by one of a few things, including the internal tubing, microphone or case.

Hearing aid aftercare

At Miracle-Ear, we know that if we, together, take care of your hearing aid, it will take care of you. It's essential that your device functions properly and allows you to live life to the fullest. That's why we offer free lifetime service and hearing aid aftercare*. This includes clean and checks, adjustments, repairs and annual hearing tests.

*Miracle-Ear® lifetime aftercare not included with hearing aids purchased utilizing some insurance benefits.

Hearing protection

At Miracle-Ear, we’re dedicated to helping you protect your hearing and the health of your ears. Our custom hearing protection solutions are tailored to specific activities and environments and custom made to the shape of your ears for maximum comfort.
