Professional Experience

I have 4 year experience as a hearing instrument specialist myself, but my mother, my stepfather, and my step-grandpa are also all hearing instrument specialists, so it's been in my family for decades.

Credentials

I am a nationally board certified hearing instrument specialist and a 4 year member of the International Hearing Society. Our office is also dementia friendly certified by the local Aging and Disability Resource Center.

Favorite Part of working with Miracle-Ear

The best part of working at Miracle-Ear is changing people's lives! It is truly amazing when you help people hear things they haven't heard in years, and even decades in some cases! I love the stories you hear about people being able to communicate with their grandchildren in a way they haven't before, or having the spouse not have to repeat, or even simpler stories like hearing the dog's paws on the floor! Those are the stories that I live for.

Professional Experience

This is my 18th year in the hearing healthcare business and I simply cannot believe how far we have come and the remarkable improvements we have witnessed, not only in the Miracle-Ear product, but also in the processes we use to create the amazing results we deliver for our customers.

Credentials

With the support of my wife Jinette and the amazing people on our team, we have grown what started out as a small hearing aid practice in Western Wisconsin, to our current operation consisting of more than 40 locations in 3 states.

Favorite Part of working with Miracle-Ear

I'm proud to say that every member of our staff - Front Office Staff as well as Hearing Aid Specialists - have successfully completed the stringent requirements of the new Miracle-Ear Certification program. We are the only company in our industry to offer this comprehensive certification. This gives our customers the peace of mind that they have the assurance that we are uniquely qualified to serve them.

Hearing loss

Hearing loss can happen to anyone. Today, more than 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss. There are three types of hearing loss: sensorineural, conductive and mixed hearing loss. While many elements can contribute to hearing loss, age and exposure to loud noise are the two most common. Signs of hearing loss include turning the TV volume up, difficulty hearing on the phone or asking people to repeat themselves. Luckily, hearing aids are a great treatment option for many.

Tinnitus

Do you hear buzzing, humming or ringing in the ears? You’re not alone. Nearly 10 to 15 percent of American adults have tinnitus. While most people experience moments or brief periods of hearing ringing in the ears at some time in their lives, some people experience tinnitus more regularly. Tinnitus is not a condition itself, but rather a symptom of another condition. 90 percent of people with tinnitus also have noise-induced hearing loss. The good news? Hearing aids can help.

Hearing aid repairs

Hearing aids are amazing devices—except when they’re not working properly. Just like other pieces of technology, they can sometimes experience technical issues. Luckily, our 3-year warranty* covers most hearing aid repairs. Repairs may be needed if troubleshooting your device hasn’t worked or your hearing aid has been physically damaged. The issue could be caused by one of a few things, including the internal tubing, microphone or case.

Hearing aid aftercare

At Miracle-Ear, we know that if we, together, take care of your hearing aid, it will take care of you. It's extremely important to us that your device is functioning properly and allowing you to live life to the fullest. That's why we offer free lifetime service and hearing aid aftercare, making sure to see each of our customers, on average, five times a year. This includes clean and checks, adjustments, repairs and annual hearing tests.

Hearing protection

At Miracle-Ear, we’re dedicated to helping you protect your hearing and the health of your ears. Our custom hearing protection solutions are tailored to specific activities and environments and custom made to the shape of your ears for maximum comfort. We offer custom hearing protection products for swimmers, hunters and music lovers.

Custom-fit

Our custom-fit hearing aids are molded to fit each person’s unique ear shape. Your hearing instrument specialist will take a mold of your ear while you're in the office. This is quick and painless! It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.
