Margie's Miracle-Ear Foundation Story

Published on Mar, 08, 2021

Margie was getting frustrated that she could not hear her family and friends. With most of her family living out of state, communicating with everyone on the telephone was becoming exceedingly difficult for her. Her television was a lot louder than it used to be and she was having trouble understanding what was being said.  That is when Margie decided to reach out to Miracle-Ear in Johnstown, PA.

Miracle-Ear Hearing Specialist Andrew tested Margie and confirmed the need for hearing aids but quickly determined that the cost of hearing aids was out of her reach. That is when she decided to apply for assistance from the Miracle-Ear Foundation, and she was approved and fitted with donated hearing aids as well as life-time aftercare.

Johnstown Margie Gift of Sound

Margie struggled to communicate with loved ones on the phone, but now she can talk with ease.

Margie is thrilled with her new hearing aids. She danced a little jig and gave Miracle-Ear two thumbs up. She is excited to be able to communicate with her family and friends with ease. The TV volume is down, and she can understand what is being said. Margie is so grateful for the help Andrew and the Miracle Ear Foundation has given her with the gift of sound.
