Gladys struggled with hearing loss for many years. She was getting frustrated that she could not easily communicate with her family and friends. Gladys found herself becoming more withdrawn from her everyday life. That is when Gladys decided to reach out to Miracle-Ear in Harrisburg, PA.
Miracle-Ear Hearing Specialist Jayson Bailey tested and confirmed that Gladys needed hearing aids, but they found that the cost of hearing aids was out of Gladys’ reach. Jayson suggested that she apply for assistance from the Miracle-Ear Foundation, and she approved and fitted with donated hearing aids as well as life-time aftercare.
Gladys used to withdraw from her everyday life, but now she has regained her independence.
Gladys is thrilled with her new hearing aids. She is excited to be able to hear her family and friends. Gladys is looking forward to gaining back her independence and being involved more with her family again. Gladys is so grateful for the help Jayson and the Miracle Ear Foundation has given her with the gift of sound.
