William was getting frustrated that he could not hear or understand anyone he encountered. Communication with his loved ones was becoming more and more difficult for William. He was having to ask everyone to repeat themselves and have the television turned up loud to understand what was being said. Growing more discouraged, William decided to reach out to Miracle-Ear in Altoona, PA.
Miracle-Ear Hearing Specialist Tony tested William and confirmed the need for hearing aids but quickly determined that the cost of hearing aids was out of his reach. Tony suggested that he apply for assistance from the Miracle-Ear Foundation. William was approved and fitted with donated hearing aids as well as life-time aftercare.
William is looking forward to getting back to a regular routine and easily communicating with his loved ones.
