Ken Dahlberg, founder of Miracle-Ear, was an American through and through. At 24, he joined the Army Air Corps and flew cover for the D-Day invasion in Normandy. He was shot down three times, escaped twice and ended the war in a POW camp. When Ken returned home, his entrepreneurial spirit kicked in as he started a small electronics company in 1948. Shortly thereafter, a team of scientists and Ken invented the first Miracle-Ear hearing aid. Seventy years later, there are over 1,400 Miracle-Ear Centers nationwide dedicated to helping millions of people hear better.
