Why I Love Miracle-Ear

I have always enjoyed working with people and I decided a career in health care would be a good fit. As a Hearing Instrument Specialist, I am able to help people with hearing loss and their families every day. The field of hearing healthcare is constantly changing and I'm passionate about being a technology expert in order to fit the right hearing aids to mee the needs of your hearing loss.

About Eric

I really enjoy watching and playing sports such as college football (Fresno State) NFL, NBA, and some soccer. Collecting NFL trading cards is one of my hobbies. I have also been a chess player all my life. I often play games online when I want to practice and relax. Don't be shy if you want to challenge me to a game.

Professional Experience

I began as a Hearing Aid Dispenser in 2003 and have worked with Miracle Ear for the duration. Before choosing hearing aids as a career, I previously worked in computer graphic design for automotive graphics.

When a patient finishes their appointment and their eyes light up because they can hear better now than when they came in, it is the BEST feeling in the world! I also enjoy getting to know each patient personally when we get to visit before and after their appointments. I love our community as well. There is such a large variety of individuals but still a small hometown feeling. We are all connected and care about each other.

Hearing loss can happen to anyone. Today, more than 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss. There are three types of hearing loss: sensorineural, conductive and mixed hearing loss. While many elements can contribute to hearing loss, age and exposure to loud noise are the two most common. Signs of hearing loss include turning the TV volume up, difficulty hearing on the phone or asking people to repeat themselves. Luckily, hearing aids are a great treatment option for many.

Our custom-fit hearing aids are molded to fit each person’s unique ear shape. Your hearing instrument specialist will take a mold of your ear while you're in the office. This is quick and painless! It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.
